SINGAPORE - Singapore-listed mining firm Straits Asia has asked for a trading halt pending the release of announcements.
Australian miner Straits Resources, Straits Asia's parent, will sell part of its coal and salt assets to Thai energy firm PTT in a deal worth about A$500 million (US$343 million), Reuters reported on Monday, citing a source familiar with the deal.
